Schlachtfest, an annual event sponsored by the Peoria German - American Central Society, is a celebration of German music, food, drink, entertainment, and of course, automobiles. There was no shortage of German music and dancers for entertainment, excellent German food and beer, as well as an impressive display of German automobiles. Several Section members brought their Mercedes and displayed them alongside all the other fine German automobiles.
